From Irvine Valley College, on March 23, 2023 – Colorado Mesa was visiting Southern California, and on this day played both IVC and Goldenwest College. This is part 1 from the opening duels, between the two visiting schools.
Colorado Mesa, an NCAA DII program, looked dominating on this day –
Going 5-0 in both matches, Colorado Mesa proved they were the better program. Irvine Valley College and Goldenwest have been two of Southern California’s strongest programs at the Junior College level. However, this is not one of the better seasons for GWC. Though both teams would lose, games like these help everyone get better.
This is Part 1 of the match between Goldentwest and CMU. More is on the way, including a better look at the record setting day for CMU beach player, Holly Schmidt. She would become the all time winningest player in their beach volleyball program’s history.
