Big shot: Zhu Ting lands in Italy

With a press release released today, Savino Del Bene Volley Scandicci announced the signing of one of the unanimously most recognized stars of volleyball globally: Zhu Ting.

Born in Henan province on November 29, 1994 (198 cm tall), the Chinese international spiker is ready to return after an injury that has kept her away from the pitch for a long time. In her career, Zhu has had only one experience abroad so far, when between 2016 and 2019 she defended the colors of VakifBank. With the Istanbul club, the Chinese champion has won 1 Turkish Championship (2018), 1 Turkish Cup (2018), 1 Turkish Super Cup (2017), 2 Champions League (2017, 2018) and 2 Club World Cup (2017, 2018) ). These are the words of her in view of the arrival in Italy: "I am happy to join Savino Del Bene Scandicci and I can't wait to get back on the field". With the China shirt, Zhu Ting won the World Cup twice (2015, 2019 - being elected MVP on both occasions) and, above all, the gold medal at the Rio De Janeiro Olympics (2016 - also receiving in in this case the MVP award). 

She and her Scandicci will wear jersey number 4.
