As the Club World Championship 2017 takes a break today to allow the four semifinalists to catch their breath before the final push for the title over the weekend, fans in Krakow are in for a rare treat.

 

The best stars of the Plusliga get together for a North v South All-Star exhibition game Friday evening at 19:00 local time, ahead of the Club World Championship semifinals on Saturday and medals matches on Sunday. It was the volleyball fans of the volleyball-crazy country that selected their favourite players to compete in the All-Star game, including such international names as Michal Masny of Slovakia, Lukas Kampa of Germany, Salvador Hidalgo Oliva of Cuba and Taichiro Koga of Japan. 

North: Michal Masny (Cuprum Lubin), Lukasz Kaczmarek (Cuprum Lubin), Piotr Nowakowski (Trefl Gdansk), Jakub Kochanowski (AZS Olsztyn), Artur Szalpuk (Trefl Gdansk), Mateusz Mika (Trefl Gdansk) and Damian Wojtaszek (ONICO Warsaw), Dustin Watten (Czarni Radom).
