Four players return to my team for this weekend: Kurek, Winiarski, Wlazly, Mozdzonek. Unfortunately I heard that Zaytsev, Travica and maybe some others are going on some vacation this time.

@oioi: yes, what you've heard is true. The next four away matches (in Poland and Iran) will be played by Italy B, cause the first-string players need some rest after an exausting season with their clubs and this first part of WL. This is the roster of Italy for the matches in Poland: setters Michele Baranowicz, Antonio Corvetta, MB Matteo Piano, Simone Buti, opposites Luca Vettori and Giulio Sabbi; OH Luigi Randazzo, Filippo Lanza and Gabriele Maruotti, liberos Andrea Giovi and Massimo Colaci.

@pearl: The situation is almost reversed this time, hopefully we will meet in WL Finals both at full strength ?
Altough I don't know if the new players will immediately enter the court at this weekend

Sivozhelez and Zhigalov won't play with Bulgary, so only Pavlov and Zemchyonok as opposites. However centers probably will play Apalikov and Muserskiy. Also Ilinykh should help, I think Biryukov doing well, so Biryukov + Ilinykh good OH pair

@Vovin: I've read Sivozhelez is injured and it is unlikely that he will take part to both the WL and the WCH. Is that true? What kind of injury does he suffer from?

@pearl: Yes, this is true, probably he will miss end of this season and WCH, but for the WCH still a chance. He will take medical survey and maybe something will be clear.
Also Volkov probably will end carier after reopened old injury, even not carier, but health under question.

MVP of match POL-ITA no doubt the white-red crowd, whatever the game will turn out.
Colorful, passionate and loudy, VERY loudy. They exacly show their feelings in rooting the national team, with an unique fair play behaviour even after opponents' complains and mistakes from referees. My personal congrats to you all, you're the true representation of what this sport is.
My congrats also to Polsat which, even if I don't understand a single word, offers an awesome broadcasting service who we Italians can only dream.
An Italian supporter.
