Giba and Kid, the first Brazilians to play as a libero

In 1998, former Brazilian NT coach, Radamés Lattari, had been tested two wing-spikers, Gilberto Godoy Filho (Giba) and Gilmar Teixeira (Kid) in a new position. They became the first Brazilians to play as a libero, during the World League.
Later, Giba would come back to his original position to become one of the best spikers ever.
