They didn't qualify to the quarter-final but they played amazing matches against Italy (they was leading 2:0 in sets, but finally they have lost that match 3:2) and Poland (surprising victory 3:1). The best Australian players in the Olympics was Thomas Edgar (91 points in 5 matches and 24% efficiency in the attack), Igor Yudin (46 points and 21% in attack), Nathan Roberts (best player in match against Poland) and Adam White (41 points and 18% in attack).
