Great star of Russian volleyball: Semyon Poltavskiy (Russian: Семён Владимирович Полтавский) born 8 February 1981 in Odessa was a member of the men's national team that won the silver medal at the 2007 European Championship in Moscow. There he was MVP of tournament. He plays for Dynamo Moscow now.
