This is a thread about FIVB World Tour awards in women's #beachvolleyball. Starting from 2005, FIVB has given seasonal awards in total of 14 different categories:
- Best Blocker
- Best Defensive Player
- Best Hitter
- Best Offensive Player
- Best Server
- Best Setter
- Most Outstanding Player
- Most Improved Player
- Most Inspirational
- Sportsperson of the Year
- Team of the Year
- Top Rookie
- Most Entertaining Player
- Most Improved Team
From these 14, “most entertaining player” and “most improved team” awards, so far were only given once, both in 2019, and won by #LauraLudwig and #AnastasijaKravčenoka & #TīnaGraudiņa team, respectively. Since there is no awards section for players in Beach Volleybox, year-by-year winners of the other 12 awards are listed in this thread one by one.

@pedeshtrian Perfect ! By the way, you know why there were no awards in 2020 and 2021 ? They stopped those distinctions or it's only because of Covid-19 ?
@Sherlock In 2020 there were very few tournaments because of COVID, so it’s understandable but they can gave (maybe should have given) the awards for 2021 since it’s a full season. It’s also possible that they stopped this completely. I don’t know.
@Sherlock Hope they will start again in 2022 with this new Beach Pro Tour.
Этим летом мы ездили на турнир, он проходил на озере Иссык-куль, в отеле Акун , сборы проходили 2 недели, мне понравилось у них. После нас еще заезжали ребята по теннису, там и корты есть
