@Pl4nti Lucarelli has agreed with Lube. At least that's what Stefano Recine (Perugia's sports director) said in a recent interview. Perugia wanted Lucarelli but he has a verbal agreement with Lube.

@Nenli I believe that Zaytsev and Lucarelli to Lube are done deals.

@TomMannion Matt Anderson was a guest on Erik Shoji's youtube channel a few days ago and they discussed his transfer in Perugia and where he likes to play, outside or opposite. 

Anderson said that he has played his entire professional club career as an outside hitter but he may play as an opposite in Perugia. He seemed uncertain though, judging from his tone and body languange. But he did say that at this point of his career, if he had a choice, he wants to play opposite. 

On the hand Rychlicki has played only 3 games as an outside since he moved in Italy. That was his first year in Ravenna. And he was sporadically used as a receiving opposite in a 4-men receiving line-up in Lube when they faced a strong server. 

So I believe Grbic will choose Anderson to be the outside since he is way more experienced than Rychlicki.

@PRÄNKBRÖT I don't know that. All I know is that Trentino won't have a strong team next season. Maybe they will get Vettori back from Modena.

According to Italian journalist Gian Luca Pasini, Perugia has signed Rychlicki. As I wrote a couple of days ago, that's the best outcome for them, since there aren't any world class outside hitters available right now. Anderson will play outside and Rychlidki will be the opposite. 

Next season Superlega will be very exciting with 3 superteams fighting for the trophy. Although I think Lube is still slightly better than Perugia and Modena because of better middles and libero.

@PRÄNKBRÖT Trentino has financial problems. Maybe there was a negotiation between the two teams and they settled on 550.000

According to volleyball.it, Giannelli to Perugia is a done deal. Trentino will receive 550.000€ to release the player and Giannelli's salary will be 450.000€ per year.

@TinPham @MefiuLeon @PRÄNKBRÖT @SamuTimoskainen I don't think there are many world class outside hitters available right now and Plotnytskyi is surely not on that level. 

The best think for Perugia is to play Anderson as a 4 and sign Rychlicki to be the opposite. He will have the same role he had in Lube, the 3rd option behind the outside hitters. He is a good server, a good blocker. He is still quite young and improving every year.

@PawełStanisławski Isac Santos to Lube was an old rumour. I think he will stay in Sada. Simon is staying in Lube and they will look for another middle-blocker if Anzani leaves for Piacenza.

@Sherlock According to the Italian journalist Gian Luca Pasini, Piacenza said no to Modena for Scanferla. At least for now.

@Panos They signed Nikos Zoupanis to play as middle blocker and they want Kawika Shoji. They kept Egleskalns, Mijailović and Zisis.

@jais If I'm not mistaken Juantorena and De Cecco have valid contracts for next season. As for the coach, I really don't know. De Giorgi has gone a really good job. It doesn't make sense to replace him.

@jais Lube's sports director (Beppe Cormio) said that they made Leal an offer but he refused because he found a much better contract for next year, probably from an Italian team. He said that if the difference was minimal Leal would have stayed but the offer he got was too good to refuse. Cormio said that they will invest in Marlon Yant for next season. 

Volley Lube is part of Lube Group which specialises in kitchen furniture. The Covid pandemic has affected the group as a whole and they want to keep the economical situation of the group stable. I guess they don't want to spend too much on volleyball for the next season.  Cormio also said that it is time for the team to get younger. That's why they will promote Yant and they want Lavia.
