Champion: thank you dear ? Nice to see that also "non italians" are interested in reading this topic! As a matter of fact this discussion has been a sort of "therapy" for me: it allowed me to pour out my heart ?
Michał Łasko (3rd movie) 12 years ago +1
Kjeld, although i'm not exactly a JW fan (even though i admit it's my favourite team in PlusLiga with Sovia) i think i can answer your question. I've seen almost all JW's matches so far and Lasko is having a fantastic season this year in Poland. He suffered a little at the beginning, but once he familiarized with his new surroundings, team-mates, schemes etc. he got back on the right track and he started playing as a monster (he has been awarded MVP so many times)!! He's probably the most effective scorer in his team despite the fact that his "feeling" with both setters (Vinhedo and Thorton) isn't perfect (but honestly this is a problem that all the rest of the team has). I've read (but an italian friend here had already told this rumour in advance) that Macerata is considering to take him next season to replace Omrcen who might go to Japanese League. If that is true...my gosh....no-one could be happier than me :)
Roninho: is he? Really?? :D

Mmmm....Resovia-Monza (or Monza-Resovia) would be pretty interesting ? But I won't say more 'cause i don't want to bring rotten luck to anyone ;P
Guys, now i have the proof that Lube's guys read our comments and were spurred by what we wrote here!! Look at what Travica's written in his blog:

http://www.travica.net/travica.net/Blog.html

I'm pretty sure he's talking about me ROTFL :D
I only hope that yesterday's victory and consequent pass to next round will give them an additional strenght and motivation to face the following part of the season in a better way.
@phoenix: io non so chi hanno chiamato, però che lo mettano sotto contratto per tutta la stagione LOL (e, se dovesse andare bene, lo prestassero anche a Berruto ? )
Ma Kjeld ti auto-celebri?? LOL

BTW...incredible match!! I only have two possible explanations to comment Lube's performance tonight:
1st is that the guys must have read our comments here, got angry and wanted to show us what they're really able to do ?
2nd they finally found an excellent exorcist!!! ROTFL
Well, thanx for letting me know these videos tysia. It's a pity this was the last part, but i'm sure Igla will delight us in taping new videos again when in OG....so, see you in London :D
Oh yes! Today we'll see what this team is made of. Certo che se è vero il detto "non c'è due senza tre...." ?
FIVB Hereos: Wilfredo Leon 12 years ago +1
I agree Kjeld. Leon is an excellent player...but Joel is a legend.
@tysia - Igla's words in 10:36 "You gotta work with weight more, f..k!!!" :D
Right! In addition to that you also have to consider that Travica is not exactly famous for playing with MBs a lot :D
In NT the "feeling" between Drago and Bira is still a "work-in-progress" :) Look at the difference when Travica plays with Buti (they're definetely more incisive than Dragan and Bira); I think it depends on the fact that Travica and Buti have played together for long time in a club and also in NT. In Trento Lele's performances are better 'cause he is used to playing with Raphael or Zygadlo every day and the harmony between him and his club setters is reliable and well-established.
We were talking about Jarosz yesterday in shoutbox :) i've seen some matches of Latina this season and Jarosz hasn't always played in the starting-six (he's sharing the opposite position with Troy); but each time i've seen him playing i liked him. I noticed he had some problems at the beginning of the season but lately is doing better and better. Obviously, as Raylight remarked, he has a fantastic coach: he can learn a lot from Prandi (btw, Silvano is one of my favourite coaches; besides he is "The Bible" of Italian Volleyball - both the Old and the New Testament :D ).
Yes, he's Greek...pretty interesting young player!!
Kooistra in Modena sounds interesting but, as you can read in the article, the problem is that the Dutch player has a three-year contract with Skra. Despite that, he could play on loan at Modena untill the end of the season (don't know if it's possible, it's just an idea).
@marchst: let's say 85% favourite Cuneo ? Hope i'm wrong!!
But what happened?? Why the referees ended the match in 24:14?? Maybe yellow card that brought the final point to Sovia?? Can you explain, please? 1:24 - Each time Igla sees a camera he can't resist to be taped LOL
